How does one photograph a restricted airspace? Today I had the opportunity to take a short flight with an AOPA representative from Frederick to Gaithersburg Maryland. The whole thing lasted about an hour, though flight time should have been about 15 minutes each way.
It was just too bad we had a clearence to fly over the ADIS line that seperates Frederick from Montgomery County airports as I think a picture of a F16 on our wing would have been much more dramatic!

A pilot shows the boundaries of the restricted airspace encompassing some suburban airports outside the Washington Metropolitan area, in Frederick, MD, December 12, 2005. Restrictions around the DC area have made private flying tedious.

The airstrip is seen during landing at Frederick Municipal Airport.
