From my last post you will know that I have been pretty busy traveling and moving from Dominica back to the States. Well, after a couple grueling weeks of flying, driving, waiting, spending, and all sorts of other relocation related experiences, I am happy to say that I am now sitting comfortably in my new apartment in Baltimore Maryland.

The apartment which I decided to grab sight unseen has so far worked out great. It is in many ways my dream apartment–a giant warehouse space overlooking downtown Baltimore.

Well the dogs made it here un-scathed, as did most of our belongings and ourselves. We have nearly set up the apartment, and have un-boxed most of our clothes and belongings. It is pretty funny how the order of priority seems to now be “electricity” followed by “internet.” But, we now have both up and running and the stereo is cranking out the iPod tunes one after another.

Randomly, I got a quick assignment for the Houston Chronicle, which I shot yesterday. It took much longer to pull of than I had anticipated, but the results were pretty satisfactory, considering I haven’t really shot a news assignment in about two years!

I have also been having a ball playing with the camera on my new iPhone, which is responsible for the above photo.

Anyway, I am now officially SWAMPED with work, so I better get to it. I will be of course posting more and more each day as things settle down, so stay tuned…
