I just wanted to throw this one up here as one of the coolest sites I have seen in a while. I love the layout of the video and photo, not to mention some really amazing photography.
Check it out for yourself here.

Kendra has posted some pics of our new apartment now that it is all set up and we are all moved in. There is still the issue of a coffee table that is currently buried beneath my parents house. But for the most part, we are moved in and loving it!
Kendra is becoming quite the photog in her own right! Click the pic to see the rest.
I think it’s about time for some new branding for the Micah Walter website and my freelance business. Currently, everything says “Micah Walter - Photojournalist.” This can be seen on my logo at the top of my website, as well as all of my invoices, business cards and other such marketing materials. The thing is I do all sorts of other things. Lately I have been doing far more software development than photojournalism, and probably even more writing than photojournalism. It’s just the nature of things these days. I switch back and forth, I merge and meld together.
So, I usually tell people who ask me what I do that I am a photographer and digital workflow consultant. The latter is sort of a blanket description that covers my writing as well as my software development. I suppose it could also cover something like custom workflow consulting for a studio or photographer, but I haven’t really done much of that (for money anyway…).
So what should my brand be? Maybe just “Micah Walter.” I kinda like that. It covers ANYTHING! Including dog walker….
Yes, it’s true, I have an iPhone. “GET YOUR iPHONES!!!!!” Well, my favorite feature of the phone has to be the halfway decent built in camera. I have it with me all the time, so I have naturally been having lots of fun taking happy-snaps with it. Here is one I took while hanging out in Mt. Vernon Square with Kendra and Laura. Laura has an iPhone as well. Go figure.
I have also created a flickr set called iPhone Baltimore. Enjoy.
