Kendra Sings Auto-Tune

I'm recently partially obsessed with Auto-Tune.. So Kendra and I went into the recording studio this week and set up some auto-tune effect in Garage Band. I think this just goes to show that no matter how bad your voice is... Auto-Tune might STILL not be able to fix it!

New MFA Thesis Page

In case you haven't noticed, I have published a new blog section called MFA Thesis. This will be a place where I will document the process of creating my thesis installation for my MFA at MICA. I plan to post scans of my notebook and drawings and as well you can view all of the source code for this project at the repository on GitHub. This art project will be completely open source! iPhone 3GS In The House!

Yesterday I picked up a brand spanking new iPhone 3GS. Kendra and I made our way down to the Apple store in Soho where we spent all of 10 minutes standing in line. Before I knew it my original non-3g phone was converted into an iPod Touch and my new baby way taking calls and receiving emails.

Surveillance Music Video

I just ran into this music video on the web. The band ran around to different locations where they knew they would be recorded on surveillance video cameras and performed. Then, because of England's version of the US Freedom of Information Act, they were entitled to the footage. Pretty cool idea I guess!

With the recent announcement of the new iPhone 3GS I am really curious to see how this whole video blogging trend takes off. Will we see video-tweets? I haven't seen much in the way of video samples from the iPhone as of yet, but I hear it's pretty nice. I know, not 720p HD, but still, it's a phone!
