Kendra Sings Auto-Tune

I'm recently partially obsessed with Auto-Tune.. So Kendra and I went into the recording studio this week and set up some auto-tune effect in Garage Band. I think this just goes to show that no matter how bad your voice is... Auto-Tune might STILL not be able to fix it!

Surveillance Music Video

I just ran into this music video on the web. The band ran around to different locations where they knew they would be recorded on surveillance video cameras and performed. Then, because of England's version of the US Freedom of Information Act, they were entitled to the footage. Pretty cool idea I guess!

I just saw this over at www.lx3-photography.com/ and had to post it! So good! Nikki Waller from the Wall Street Journal has some fun insights into why she loves her Panasonic LX3. She also has a full review article here. I love how she thinks the lens cap makes it "retro" but also kinda hard to use. Oh boy.... Enjoy!

CSI Has Nothing on Miami Vice

I just saw this on Hulu.com and had to post. I love the intro song by The Who. Some people don't realize that's a Who song anymore and just think it's the beginning to CSI. I also love the 80's beach attire and Little Richard's cameo! Michael Mann was a genius.!! And some more trivia I just thought of... Michael Mann produced Miami Vice and also a great movie called Manhunter, which featured William Peterson, who was the lead on CSI Las Vegas! Weird....

Alex Mauer Releasing 8-Bit Music on NES Carts

I find this sort of thing very amusing. An artist by the name of Alex Mauer has been releasing "LPs" on 8-Bit NES cartridges. He is also involved in the Playpower.org project, which I also find pretty interesting.
